Shank #8-9 Hybrid 24" with Shinguard and Blade Description:
The #9 blade is the superior ripping blade and coupled with the #9 shinguard which gives full face protection to the shank, offers the user maximum wear resistance and life for the shank.
This 24" shank fits into all #8 shank assemblies and enables the user to utilize the current #9 blades and #9 shinguards.
It can also fit in the #1 Hydraulic assembly but would also need to have the #318 carrier swapped over to the #8 hydraulic shank carrier. The usage of the carrier can be circumvented by directly fitting a 30" hybrid shank which allows the shank to be bolted in the same place as the #318 carrier.
The 24" shank assembly comes with a GP Blade H/F and Shinguard Plain and has a 450mm max working depth in ideal conditions.
It can also be purchased as an individual shank without the blade & shinguard.
